Web site post reprinted in Newspaper

Post by John Ross Harvey » February 8th, 2010, 3:24 pm

Living in Greater Toronto Area, we've had far too many traffic fatalities to pedestrians. As a writer, I felt it best to convey my opinion on my website, on why no one party is to blame for the tragedies. With the newspaper editor following me, she took much of my web post and printed it in the paper. I have several road safety twitterers following me, and I have 2 road safety twitters of my own.
A local News Station interviewed me because my Harvey the Happy Helmet book is entered into Toronto Book Awards, so my article was discussed as well. Look for City News website to publish that this week. If I can create awareness to prevent these events from recurring from my writing then its worth it to me. Please read my article at www.johnrossharvey.com

Hi, John,

Sounds like you're having great success with indie publishing - both your articles and books. May you continue to publish and have your work noticed! Your article that you posted on your website sounds like a helpful public service, especially since a newspaper reporter and local TV took notice. Congratulations!
