First Year for NaNoWriMo

Post by AMSchilling » November 8th, 2011, 9:37 pm

This is my first year signing up for NaNoWriMo (I actually just signed up today so I already lost time. Yikes! Way to add an extra challenge!). I'm a little nervous since I've been procrastinating for too long trying to pick my next book to write. I get to 20k pages and then get distracted by the next pretty shiny idea... *sigh* :?

Would anyone buddy me? My poor little list is very empty and it would be much appreciated. I'm under A.M. Schilling.

I did a search for you but couldn't find your profile. I will buddy with you if I can find you!

I'm under as tellgreatstories

Are you on Twitter? A group of us have been spending our evenings on Twitter together doing writing sprints. We usually do #1k1hr sprints, and then relax with alittle fun chatting time, then back to work for another hour. It's way motivational, especially since the other girls are WAY faster than I am, so I feel like I need to go extra hardcore. Come join us if you are on Twitter (or if you want to be on Twitter with us!) I'm there under Sommer_Leigh
May the word counts be ever in your favor. http://www.sommerleigh.com

Thanks! I buddied you so I think you'll have a link or something? Now I've got you and the epic Kim Harrison (yup, the "Hollows" series K.H.). I am way outclassed.

I'm not on twitter yet - just got around to setting up a professional facebook page and my blog. Sounds like fun, though. Might be something to consider for next year, once I get a handle on the whole "promotion through social media" thing.
