Howdy Bransforumers!

I've been thinking about the "if your query is good you will get requests for partials" phrase. I've queried two novels (though not widely, only about a dozen queries per novel) and gotten nothing but form rejections. Now that I've had time away from Queryland so that the emotions have died down I can see that I do have lots of problems with both of those query letters.

But here's my actual question: how many of you have gotten partial/full requests on your first novel? Or second? How many novels/rejections/requests have you received? Is it really true that as long as you have a good query you'll get at least a few partial requests?

Whatcha think?
Brenda :)
