Hi Nathan - fellow lurkers,
This may be a common/stupid question:
When submitting a query to a generic email, i.e. submissions@fakeagency.com, what is the proper way to address the person who is reading your email? Obviously there is no specific agent you're emailing, just a submissions pool.
I've run into several of these while researching agents and their respective agencies. I'd feel kind of stupid saying something like 'To Whom It May Concern, or Dear Agent.
What's the correct way to address this?
Thanks!
-Dani

Re: Submissions to Generic Agency emails
I'd just start without a salutation. Starting with the idea seems better to me than "To whom it may concern" or something along those lines.
