International Queries

Post by EMC » June 27th, 2010, 11:26 am

It's waaaay too early in my literary career to be thinking about this...but I am.
For those of you outside the U.S. where presumably there would be less agencies/publishers to submit to - do you submit to agencies/publishers in the US?
The market in Ireland is very small, and I was wondering what the protocol was on international querying? Is it a no-no?

Query away! Most American agents won't mind working with international writers... if the book is saleable! There might be a few extra concerns, but nothing that's too unusual.
