Marilyn, that's a wonderful video, plus an interesting article and photo of the column of lava. Thanks for posting it. Now I want to find my copy of Rachel Carson's UNDER THE SEA WIND (my favorite of her books about the sea) and look for a particular passage about the expansion of the sea floor.
