Dr. Seuss Rejected

Post by Ryan » March 3rd, 2010, 12:04 pm

How did we forget to wish the man Happy Happy yesterday?

In case you didn't know, Dr. Seuss had years of rejections (twenty publishers according to one site) before someone thought his crazy drawings and tongue twisting ramblings were any good.
My love of fly fishing and surfing connects me to rivers and the ocean. Time with water reminds me to pursue those silly little streams of thought that run rampant in my head.

My husband's father worked as a producer with Dr. Seuss in television in NYC, so my husband met him when he was a boy. Dr. Seuss named one of the alphabet letters after my husband when he wrote that book.
We have an autographed copy.
