Alpha Consumers

Who are the alpha consumers in your chosen genre? A demographic, so to speak. I wrote about this a couple of times on my blog (link in the signature), but I want to hear other thoughts. Who do you target to? And let's not shy away from stereotypes... we are, after all, un-bigoted here, and stereotypes can be great examples (even if they are generalizations). :D OH, and please let's try to stay on topic.
