Oh my gosh, guys, I seriously wish everyone could be here! It's writerly nerd-a-licious around here. I mean, really, where else could you stand around with yogurt smoothies discussing the proper usages of past perfect tense and having the BEST TIME EVER?! This is what it's like around here. You know how we all think 'wow, Bransforumers seem so cool'? Well, they are!! These folks are amazing.
Bransforumers ARE cool! I am astounded at the talent among our group too. Really, I'm SO impressed! We did our critique groups today so we talked a lot about each others' novels. In a word: awesome. It was awesome! I'm going to miss everyone. I already had to say good-bye to Nicole, who is leaving in the morning. I'm so glad I've had the good fortune to meet these wonderful people! This really needs to be an annual event because it's that fantastic!

Said good-bye to some wonderful people today. I love that I can now put a face and tone of voice to the posts that I read!

I think we did some good work this week, learned a lot from each other and I, for one, am going home with renewed enthusiasm for writing. Thank you my lovely Bransforum friends for the camraderie and good conversation!

It was SO great to meet all you guys! I really enjoyed our discussions, workshops and random writing meet-ups. ;) Plus, who doesn't love a good crit group with 90+ mile-an-hour winds howling outside and debris flying around your 25th floor window!?!

Thanks to all of you for sharing some awesome insights and perspectives. And, Brenda, I wanna hear all about your Story session since I couldn't stay for it in person.

Oh man, what a great trip! I am so happy to be home now just so that I have time to rest and digest everything we talked about. I feel like I learned so much that I haven't even really realized how much it truly is.

Nicole, I'll type up my workshop notes and email them to you in the next few days. Along with some pictures to everyone. :)

Thanks to all of the awesome Bransforumers I got to hang out with - y'all are awesome and I really hope I can make it to the BransforumFest 2013 up north(ish)!

Made it home!

On the one hand, it's SO NICE to see my dog, sleep in my own bed, and drink my own coffee (no more $5 lattes from S'bux!).

HOWEVER...

What I would GIVE to be able to sit around a table and talk craft again. Or growl at my computer while Margo challenges us to convey emotion through description. Or talk self pubbing. Or sit in the spa for THREE HOURS with Sommer, talking about craft and the industry.

Epic trip, everyone. Thank you so much for making the trek. And an extra thank you to Nathan. I imagine that had to be strange to fly to Vegas to meet a group of people who all met through your forums. And given your work schedule this week, your efforts were even more appreciated.

I hope everyone got home safely and are enjoying the comforts of familiarity.

I am in a bus, heading home to Qc, totalling 9 hours of sleep for the last two days, all of which were done this last night. And the closer I get to Qc, the more I miss you guys. Might have to do with the awesome week we had, and the fact my boss wants me to work 4 pm - 11 pm tonight. And tomorrow.

I have to say, though, I had an incredible last day with Eric. The desert was beautiful and I think I took as many pictures in a day than in the entire week. We drank lots of water, as promised, and neither of us got sunburned (for the entire trip. I think that's a miracle).

Ha! Good on you! I definitely approve. ;)

Sounds like you guys had all kinds of fun. I'm crossing my fingers for a Bransforumfest 2013!
