Posting a day early, since I don't think I'll get the chance tomorrow. Anyway, today we discuss one-liners, and how their easy and eloquent delivery belies the work that goes into them behind the scenes. http://harbingercodex.blogspot.com/2011 ... liner.html
Hi, my name's Fenris. I'm a thousand-year-old monster who's broken free to destroy the world. Your kids will love me!

Wednesday post is about one of my favourite artist, from Quebec: http://claudiea.blogspot.com/2011/06/ma ... azini.html

I picked one who speaks in English to start the Made In Quebec posts. Wanted to go easy on you guys. ;)

How can two people, who are so completely different, write enough alike to produce a novel?

An International Challenge To Amazon? From Spain?

Amazon have been moving very slow in Europe - the Kindle has only been officially launched in UK and Germany, and they apply a $2 Whispernet surcharge in most of the rest of Europe. On every e-book. If you want a Kindle, you have to order it from the US, and you get hit with extra charges, and left with a useless US plug.

Now a Spanish company - Telefonica - the world's 5th telecoms company, with more subscribers than AT&T and Verizon combined, is launching their own e-reader and e-bookstore. Expect the Kindle to launch in Spain (and the rest of Latin America) shortly. ¡Ay Caramba!
