Today I posted next step in my continuing series INDIE PUBLISHING FOR INTERNATIONAL WRITERS, a step-by-step guide to getting your stories into (digital) print.

One of the reservations people have with indie publishing is that they are worried that their novel will get lost in a sea of titles without a big publisher trumpeting their work. People wonder how they will find anything among the 800,000 or so Kindle e-books, and shudder to think what that will be like when there are millions of them.

Today I show why this is the wrong way to think about it, and how you can get your self-published book some attention.

This isn't my blog, per se, but a new group blog I've joined, Afterglow Book Reviews. Today is my first post:

All of you peeps who blog on Blogger--is your site down as well? The status thingy tells me they're working on it, but my last post is still MIA and I can't get to any other recent blogs that use Blogger. Bummer.

Blogger is in Read-Only mode for everyone. I'm so sorry blogger friends! Wordpress is still working and everyone is invited for tea and heart-shaped cakes over at my blog-house.

Maybe Jacob Wonderbar broke blogger too?

I really wish I could get to my blog. Ah, my raincloud of bad luck cursed them, too. ; . ;
I'm on Tumblr!

The blog died...but so did I...and now I'm alive again! OMG.

Oh, look! Blogger stopped sucking long enough for me to do my Friday post. I give you the first in a seven-part series on structure. The inciting incident...

Oh wow, nice timing Margo. I'm reading through Larry Brooks' book at the moment!

So I had a nice post yesterday about explosive things, including Jacob Wonderbar. I'll retype when I can. Meanwhile, enjoy the last of my three-post series on fluorescent proteins... the brainbow!

Seriously, even if you haven't read the others, you need to check out the pictures in that one.

What writers can learn from cyclists: it doesn't get easier, you just go faster.

Thought this was a fun topic for a Friday!
