self publishing

If I list my book on createspace. com and/or smashwords.com is this considered self-published? Will a publisher who wants all N-Amerisan rights refuse to publish this book? If I remove my book from these sites will I be considered unpublished again?

Yes

It won't be unpublished, it will just be formerly self-published.
