I'm so sorry to hear that! A few ladies in my RWA chapter went through this, and it sounded terrible. Basically, the authors whose books were already released were SOL, and everyone else obtained attorneys to regain the rights to their books.

Sorry to hear that.
It seems this is another huge plus for self-publishing. At least you don't have to fight for your own rights there and you don't have to wait years for the big nothing.So now, where to?
