While many are trying to convince us that writers doesn't have to afraid of anything as their works are always in the best hands, here are two examples about the existing dark side. This time one literary agent and one publisher was caught red-handed.

This is why it's important to research publishers/agents and ask about their current clients/recent sales, and ask if you might contact some of their current clients to talk about what they're like to work with.
