Do you have an author page on Facebook?
Do you have an author page on Facebook?
I took Nathan's advice on a recent blog post and set up my author page on Facebook. Come on over and "like" me!

I still haven't figured out how to make the Facebook box appear on my blog (or add "like" buttons to everything), but I will continue to play around with that, as Nathan suggested. :)

I'm embarrassed to say this, but . . . I don't have any idea how to make an author page. Can anyone provide a link to an explanation? Sorry to be so dense

Done! It's the least I can do for your kind reminder that I should get around to asking someone how to do this.pensees wrote:Come on over and "like" me!
And anyone who chooses a memorial to "the Macraes who served in World War II" to be in the limited space for photos at the top of the page can't be all bad!

Siebendach: Thanks! The MacRaes are near and dear to my heart (the hero in my book is a MacRae).siebendach wrote: Done! It's the least I can do for your kind reminder that I should get around to asking someone how to do this.

Any advice on getting the "like" posts and box to appear on blogspot? I spent hours (and tried Nathan's links) but couldn't get it to work. :(

Goodness, no . . . I'm still trying to navigate my way through Facebook's instructions linked on Polenth's earlier post --- which you'll notice is almost twenty days old! How sad is that!

Pensees, I could be completely off base about this, but I recently made a page for my aunt's business on Facebook and I think you have to pay to get the "like" button on other websites.pensees wrote:Any advice on getting the "like" posts and box to appear on blogspot? You don't have to pay anything to get the Like button. You can get the code here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/ref ... gins/like/
http://www.simplebloggertutorials.com/2 ... on-in.html has some Blogspot specific instructions as well :-)

Thanks! Do you have a link with instructions on how to add the Facebook like box widget in Blogger (the one that goes along the side and shows the people who like the FB page)? I appreciate your help!Collectonian wrote:You don't have to pay anything to get the Like button. You can get the code here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/ref ... gins/like/

Re: Do you have an author page on Facebook?
Just to be clear: it does cost money to set up the author page on FB in the first place, doesn't it?
Does anyone remember how much it is?
And are you able to pay normally, or do they insist on drafting a credit card/bank account?

To set up any page should be free.

No, it does not cost any money at all to set up a page in Facebook. It is 100% free. You just log in with your regular account, and create a page at: http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.phpsiebendach wrote:Just to be clear: it does cost money to set up the author page on FB in the first place, doesn't it?
