Formatting for Kindle
I successfully uploaded two novels to Kindle and Nook and patted myself on the back for having done so.
Then, I figured out how to read what I'd put up for the whole world to see.
And they sucked!!!!!
I found a whole bunch of stupid formatting errors. After untold hours of reviewing and revising and editing, they still showed up.
But, how on earth to fix them?
Well, I came up with a partial answer and posted it on my blog. If you're having similar problems, check it out at http://lvcabbie.blogspot.com/2011/03/fo ... indle.html
And, all comments/hints/suggestions welcomed.

Today I put up a request for donations to my charity of the month. They have a disaster relief fund put together for Japan. Please consider giving to Feed the Children.

Storytelling: Fables of the Flying City http://sommerleigh.com/?p=2656
There are 101 ways to tell a story, and I don’t mean the difference between hardback, paperback and digital. I mean the format of story, what form the storyteller takes and how the audience receives it.
But there are others, maybe less tried, maybe less true, an exceptional few creating new and experimental forms of storytelling.
Quite by accident, I assure you, as I was trying my hardest to do as little as possible with this week’s blog posts (*guilty look*) I ended up compiling a bunch of posts that had a common theme – they dealt in storytelling that pushed the boundaries of traditional as we understand it these modern days, and they are doing it with such talent. It kind of makes me want to try my hand in the wild, uncharted territories known only as, “That space outside the box.”

An unscheduled post on one writer (that would be me) coping with dissonance and indecision about publishing, about subgenre, about blogging... Thoughful, thought-provoking thoughts welcome.
