I know you've probably answered a gazillion questions like this, but I have one more to add. I was asked to share a short story I wrote at a regional conference named for a local author from the early 1900s (Mari Sandoz). However, it's in a different genre. It was written in literary fiction and I write in fantasy. Can I still mention it in the query?
