I came across these really neat videos about story structure by Dan Wells. I'm a huge outliner and this is awesome!

Thanks for that, Robin. I only watched this first one. Did you watch the rest of them? I remember you said you were struggling with a saggy middle awhile ago, and I wondered if this gave some insight? I don't really outline very much, and so he was right about pantsers having to go back in revision to give the story that proper structure.

Also, I kind of want his t-shirt.

His structural approach is similar to that of Larry Brooks at storyfix.com. Larry's blog and books are worth checking out.

I love youtube and video technology. It lets you be at a conference you might not otherwise be able to attend.

I left a link to this one and another series under the conferences thread here:

But having a thread for these all in itself is even better!

Any others out there anyone know about?
