Please give your thoughts :)

Post by Jaya » January 11th, 2011, 8:00 am

Hi Nathan,

I really respect your thoughts and opinions. I read this : http://www.guidetoliteraryagents.com/bl ... Novel.aspx

What do you think? My funds are limited. But , it might be a good investment? I'm a complete newbie, not a lot of confidence, and I tend to "flail" and sabotage myself. Can never pinpoint a liked schedule, lost creativity and inspiration, suffering a case of the "jealousy" and feeling pressure for some odd reason.

Thoughts? I'm back and forth on it with wonder.

Thanks! Hope to hear soon.

I think a good rule of thumb when it comes to writing is that you shouldn't spend anything you can't afford to lose. So if funds are limited I'd give it plenty of thinking.

And what if I decided to take money that was "extraneous" for the month? (something I could certainly certainly use toward something else of value...but could be there to use for this?). Would you think it worth it? Would love to know.

Sorry, the link doesn't work anymore and I can't remember the details, but you might ask around elsewhere on the Forums or on Absolute Write to see what people have thought of seminars like these. I haven't participated in one, so tough for me to weigh in directly.
