Short story roulette

Post by Fenris » December 16th, 2010, 3:54 pm

You know, I've been told many times that short-story writing is a great way to hone one's craft. I was going to suggest a sort of roulette game where participants had to write a short story in the genre they were given (either by a literal game of sorts--roulette, dice, something--or by assignment from other forumgoers), but then I saw a somewhat similar thread here! (viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2639) (I think I did that URL thing right)

Thoughts? Do you like the sound of this, or would you rather stick with Evelyn's thread?

Hi, my name's Fenris. I'm a thousand-year-old monster who's broken free to destroy the world. Your kids will love me!
