Query agent w/ little or no info

Post by Netti » October 31st, 2010, 7:23 pm

I'm considering querying an agent who, when googled, has basically no info except that she reps my favorite author. There's also contact info but my question is, with so little info about the agent is it appropriate to query her? Or would it be better to leave her alone? Also, my writing is somewhat similar to the writing of the one author she represents, if that helps.

If she reps your favorite author she must be doing something right. But really it's about fit, so I'd query and see what happens. As long as you've determined she's legitimate, you can ask all the questions you need to know when the time comes.
