Incredibly clear, sharp text and images from an unsurpassed high resolution display at 1024 x 600 delivering 169 pixels per inch (PPI). CHAPTER ONE
It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a...KINDLE? I-PAD? NOOK? COLOR NOOK?

Less with the shiny objects please, Nathan! You nearly sold me on the I-PAD. The Alice e-book, where stuff falls to the bottom of the screen if you revolve it, appeals to me inner three year old (I got him surgically implanted when they removed my Inner Editor, conscience, and appendix.)

Face it, Nathan. We're men. We don't do 16 million colors, unless they're red, green, blue, brown, yellow, black, white, and 15,999,993 shades of beige. Women likewise, but they cover it up by inventing complicated names for imaginary colors.

$249? Hmmmm...But I am weakening.

You know, I still don't have an i-anything. No iPhone. No iPad. No iMac. Even though I'm an IT Technician, I'm just not that technologically forward. People look at me funny about that, but maybe it's why I enjoy steampunk so much.

I enjoy books as books. The smell, the sight, the sound, the feeling. I've never been impressed with a Kindle or a Nook. And the shiny colors don't impress me much else, either. I'm never anywhere where I want to carry my library with me anyway, and if I need to look something up, I can use a computer.

Oh, look, I have my laptop with me. A pretty, purple, Dell Studio named Sakuraba-san. [hugs it]

And if I don't? Well, why would I need to look something up for? I can always do that later.

I'm usually too busy to be reading anyway.

Though I do have to say it would make a wonderful whacker to smack someone over the head with, $249 is a steep price for something a three-ring leather binder can do just as well. ;3
I'm on Tumblr!

The blog died...but so did I...and now I'm alive again! OMG.
