Well, Chasing Miracles is in the final sparkle stages and though I think the last couple chapters still need a little bit more polish and if left to me the ending would go on and on and on...
I'm looking for betas.
The ending I had before was nice, it cut off well, but it left the reader with too much thought that he might have dreamed everything. So this ending I'm not 100% happy with either. I'm just not sure how to end it, I guess. But I've never been good at ending anything. XD I could go on forever.
I'm not looking for grammar unless it's glaringly obvious. I'm looking for continuity and what I call 'glaze spots'. Spots where, as you're reading, you find yourself bored. Ack, no, don't put the book down because you feel you want to do something else! Those. You know, you start skipping over detail and begin reading dialogue because you just want to get done because it's that bad.
Now if you skip because it's that good, it's a different matter. ;3
As far as critiquing your MS goes, I do have to apologize in advance. Please tell me what you want, because I've been known to be very harsh if not told what to critique, depending on the level of the MS. Of course, I usually have dealt with fanfiction and first draft MS, so if it's past that stage I might not need to deal with delivering the dreaded 'it's got potential but it needs a lot of work' that makes most people hate me. :D
Also, NaNoWriMo is coming up so replies may be slow come November. But I might be done before then as I'm usually a ravenous reader. XD
I look forward to working with you~! :3

Michael and I would be game, particularly if you'll read through our MS. It's historical fantasy set in 18th century Britain, and there's a fairly strong military angle. Also, we like our critiques harsh!
