Queries that got a positive response
Queries that got a positive response
The title is self explanatory. Wouldnt it be a good idea to post those queries that caught an agent's eye and led to either a pages or full manuscript request? I am sure we can pick a few pointers out of those!
Re: Queries that got a positive response
I think that's a GREAT idea. That way we can see I guess "what works". I've heard so many agents say that even if the query failed to meet typical query format requirements, the query still had that oomph that made it interesting enough to request pages.

Re: Queries that got a positive response
The only problem with this is that the many queries meet with some positive responses and a ton of rejection----so how do you want to define positive response? A query that at any point got a request? A query that actually eventually brought an offer?

Maybe its best to keep it at positive response- e.i both request and offer!
