What to do with multiple query versions

Just wondering--when people post revisions for their query letters, is it more helpful to read the previous versions and comment on the revisions or to just read the most recent version cold and comment on that only?

I like to see the whole process, and then make suggestions that incorporate all versions.
To read a story is to breathe life into society-real or imagined, yet the imagined comes out of the truth.
