I was in Barnes and Nobel looking for new books a few days ago, and one caught my eye. I'll admit, I judge books by their covers way to often, and I really liked this on. It was black with dark grey clock gears and a glass key. The lettering had the same clock-like style. So I picked it up and read the jacket. It was about a giant, living prison, and a teenage boy determined to escape. I took it home, and ended up reading it in one sitting. I have to say it was one of the best books I've read in a few months.
Anyone else read Incarceron by Catherine Fisher? Thoughts? Comments? Snide Remarks?

Re: Incarceron
I have not read Incarceron yet, it is in my pile. I'm actually waiting to get closer to Sapphique's release date (December) before I read it. I've heard nothing but amazing things about Incarceron and people whom I share similar opinions with have nothing but good things to say. I know that if I like it as much as they do, I'll want to read Sapphique immediately.

Re: Incarceron
I read the blurb on Amazon, and it sounds like a fun read. But I hate, hate, hate getting wrapped up in an incomplete series. The waiting is torture. It looks like book 2 is coming in December (the book SL mentioned). Is this intended as a 3 book series? 2 books? If so, I'll wait until December and read both books consecutively.

Re: Incarceron
I read it.....
It was really interesting, and the world grabbed me and pulled me in, but in the end it all felt like a big set up for book two. Now, I think my opinion on whether or not that set up was worth it will come after I read Sapphique. But it's not a horrible read, it's worth it just for the intense and unique setting.

Re: Incarceron
IT'S A SERIES? How did I miss that one? I thought it just had one of those more open endings, letting the reader wonder what's going to happen. Can't wait for book two.

Re: Incarceron
The cover caught me because of the key (a big element in my book and I wear one so everyone knows me as the key girl), but I heard on a comment that I read that it wasn't a very good ending so I'm waiting to see what others say of the second one. Also, Hush Hush's second book Crescendo is coming in two weeks and then there's NaNo, so I don't have time! XD
