What's the most interesting book you've read? Why?

An alternative to worst because who wouldn't like to find something else that engages the mind?
Personally for me it's "The Stranger" by Albert Camus - it's not the best book I've read, however it always leaves me with something new to think about. Not just that but it's a relatively easy read, and short to boot making it a great book to pick apart on the weekend or holidays.
What sticks out for you? Not best, or the most well written, but interesting. Throw out some deep cuts or hot takes! Anything goes! Did you read Saddam Hussein's novel? Was there some book you found at a yard sale you've never seen or heard of before or since that captivated you? Etc!
