Hello all,
I'm fairly new to seeking representation. I was wondering if partial/full requests should always be sent in a separate email. I've recently received a couple full requests from my current round of queries and have simply replied to the initial email thread (while following the specific agents guidelines for delivering said requested material). Is this bad form? Since the requests were recent should I send new emails with the material?
Thanks for any and all assistance in advance.

Re: Full request etiquette question(s)
I have heard that agents prefer it all to be in the same email thread, so they can look back at your query letter and anything else you originally submitted. However, many specify that you change the subject line to say "FULL REQUEST" or something similar, so it's easy for them to find in a crowded inbox.

Re: Full request etiquette question(s)
It's great that you're getting full requests! Generally, it's best to follow the agent's guidelines closely. If they specify to send materials in a separate email, it's a good idea to do so, even if you've already communicated in the same thread. This helps keep things organized on their end.
