The Dissection of Rejection

Post by dios4vida » April 30th, 2010, 12:29 pm

While browsing through my agent/editor/author blogs over my morning cup o' joe, I got a link to this wonderful article. It's a series of other links that are incredibly encouraging for those of us who are just tired of getting rejections.

May these bolster your writer's spirit as much as they have bolstered mine!

Wow, one of the links on there pointed out that Harry Potter was rejected 12 times... how'd you like to be the agent who turned down 10 or 15% on all Harry Potter sales?

Granted, such a run-away hit would be impossible to predict, and probably comes around once a century...
