Steven Spielberg Developing Multiple Projects on Outer Space
Looks like Steven Spielberg is about to delve into the subject of outer space in a really big way. In addition to “Super 8”, his upcoming movie with J.J. Abrams http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi1526990617, he’s working on a project called INTERSTELLAR (2011) which is described on IMDb as “An exploration of physicist Kip Thorne’s theories of gravity fields, wormholes and several theories that Albert Einstein was never able to prove.”: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0816692. It also looks like he’s planning to start a social network where people can share their “paranormal and extraterrestrial experiences”: http://techcrunch.com/2008/03/03/steven ... ghost-town.

This is very cool. I love hearing that Spielberg is going in this direction. He's visionary, and I'm looking forward to seeing what he sees.
Maybe it will give a boost to science fiction books, too. That would also be a plus. :)
