Want to hear something depressing that I just realized while browsing Query Tracker? When searching specifically for an agent that reps Fantasy, I subtracted out the ones that don't take unsolicited queries. That left me 107. I only have 107 chances to make someone go 'huh. sounds interesting.' Unlike most other people who have hundreds of agents that rep their genre. I feel totally screwed right now. And of those, roughly half only take snail mail inqueries and not email.

You guys are hilarious! My hubby is from Amarillo, but I'm not too good at the geography. Not sure how close that is to ya'll.

Amarillo is about six hours from me, depending on how much I speed.
