question about writing a query letter on behalf of someone

Dear Nathan,

I am not a writer, but my cousin is a best selling author in another country. She has asked me to be the liaison between potential agents or publishers, as she doesn't have the time and her English is not that great. When I submit her books, how should I explain who I am in this situation? I understand that query letters are usually from the authors themselves. I don't want to confuse anyone, so what is the best way of going about this? Should I just write as if the letters are coming directly from her and then explain to them that I am helping her?

Thank you for any advice on this!

Wouldn't her current publisher handle the foreign rights to her books?

No, her publisher only has rights in her country.

Do you speak the language? I would have her write the letters and directly translate them, and yes, just mention at the end that you're helping her out.
