So it's that time of year when we would normally invade Nathan's offices and trash--I mean decorate them for a party of apocalyptic proportions--I mean true elegance. And we SO forgot to do this for Halloween.

I got 50-gallon drums of nog (NNNNNNNNOOOOOOGGGGGGGG!!! says Hoops & Yoyo, this year's entertainment). Who's with me?

I HAVE BEEN WAITING ALL YEAR FOR THIS.

I have brought my elf costume and everything. With fancy jingle-toed shoes. For the nice Bransforumers, I give cookies. For the naughty ones, a sharp whack across the nose with a candy cane.

Let the festivities begin!

Voila, I'm a reindeer! So, yeah, the huge antlers might not have been the best idea, especially once we start drinking-- Oooh, yeah, sorry about that light fixture. No problem, I brought LOTS and LOTS of christmas lights to string everywhere. That will give us enough light!

Here, someone take this end of the string. No, oh, wait, the antlers. Okay, maybe someone else needs to string the lights while I find someplace to sit down before these put out an eye.

How about one of the Nightmare Before Christmas IMPS?!? Or maybe a gingerbread woman? Or a Christmas angel? Or an ornament! An ornament! Of course, such a sort of ...perfectly round costume might make it hard to sit down, but you could just dance all night instead! HEY! It would be PERFECT for a mosh pit. You'd be the best protected mosher of ALL!

OH LOOK, the NOG isn't sugar-free after all! SUGAR!

Oh, and I brought cookies!! They're shaped like agents, editors, and publishers so that we can OM NOM their heads off in revenge for the rejections we've all piled up over the year. But first we get to use these nifty frostings and sprinkles to dress them in obnoxious costumes. Revenge is, shall we say, SWEET!!

SO FREAKING AWESOME! I'm going to dress this one up like Donald Maass, NOT because I'm obsessed with Donald Maass or anything. Anyone got any black frosting? I don't think I've ever seen him in anything but black. Black t-shirts, black sweatshirts, black polo shirts. He's got that "if James Dean were an agent" thing goin' on. No, I said I am NOT obsessed with Donald Maass. GAH!

Now I make a Janet Reid shark agent cookie and chase people around the room, yelling, "QUERY...QUERY...QUERY QUERY...QUERY QUERY QUERY!!!" to the Jaws theme, breaking lights and knocking pictures off walls with my stylish antlers.

Yes, I just used a said bookism. Shut up. It's the sugar and the nog.
