We're long-time (silent) readers of this great community for writers. Just started a boutique design house (based in LA) for gorgeous eBook covers to support self-published authors.

A cover for your book/novel/essay is like introducing your better half to family or friends. First impressions make all the difference!

So, here's one way to spread some love to the lovely Nathan Bransford community members:

The What?

• To celebrate its launch, a boutique LA-based design house for book covers invites you to submit a brief synopsis (100-350 words) of your book, novel, collection of short stories or essay.
• All entries will be vetted and a jury of cool people will pick only three (3) submissions for an absolutely FREE book cover design. The owner(s) of each submitted entry will be contacted personally. Final deadline for submission is Wednesday, Nov 30. (Don’t procrastinate!)

Who the We?

• We are an innovative LA-based startup that designs gorgeous book covers.
• We love and support the truly independent, self-published author.

Now What?

• Submit your brief synopsis along with your full name, location and daytime number. Use the subject line “Cover for my book (NB Community)" and email: bookcoverinvite@gmail.com

Quill, we're set to launch New Year's 2012. We're in beta mode and are doing this "special contest" for writers as part of our launch promotion. That being said, if you're an author, why not send in your synopsis? We'd we more than happy to give you further details about our design collective.
