Hi

I'm making a chart of steampunk fiction, and I definitely need to represent Japan. I have "Full Metal Alchemist" in the "Japanese/graphic novel" slot, but I want a good Japanese steampunk novel (available in English) too.

Suggestions? Please describe the book's location (and historical period), style (humour? dark?), and audience (age).

You might want to go to some Japanese sites (?). Or just try googling "Japanese steampunck" and see where it gets you!

Jay Kristoff will have a Japanese steampunk novel coming out in 2012, the beginning of a new series. It's an English-language novel (he's Australian). I'm quite excited about it.

I don't have any suggestions, but please share the chart when you're done! I'd love to see a chart of potential Steampunk reads!
