Hey guys,

So this is less a fun thing and more of...I really need help.

I'm moving to Long Island in less than a month to start my master's program, and as of yet I don't have anywhere to live. Three apartments have fallen through. It sucks.

Ao I'm asking the New Yorkers if they're aware of any rentable studio's or apartments (That are reputable) in the 11548 area. Preferably less than 1000 a month, but I'm getting kind of desperate.

I don't live in NYC, but have you checked out Craigslist? i know it can be sketchy, but I got my apartment there.

I've been trying without much luck. Fortunately one just came up that looks absolutely perfect. Now all I have to do is cross my fingers, and pray desperately that I get it.

Oh no. I wish I could help you, but I don't anyone there either. Oh! I know there are hotels that will do special weekly rates--I don't know how much--but you could do that until you find a place.
