Are you a steampunk obsessive?
Today I wrote reviewsof twenty non-fiction books that I just read in preparation for writing a steampunk trilogy set in an alternate 1850s Victoria (Australia).
Definitely the best book I've read for any steampunk creator to peruse is "Victorian London" by Liza Picard. It's often very funny, too, which doesn't hurt! I think you can scrape by if you just read that.
