I'm not sure what you mean - do you want to create a brand new wordpress theme? I've never seen an editor that lets you create a theme from scratch with a WYSIWYG editor. However, most wordpress themes are incredibly customizable.

OH and also you can't use a create a theme or edit the code of a theme using the basic wordpress.com To use a custom theme, edit the code, or create your own, you have to use Wordpress.org and purchase your own web hosting.

Yep, I have a self hosted wordpress blog and I've been sifting through themes for about 24 hours now looking for something that will work for me. I found some passable themes. I would like to create my own.

I suppose that I'm looking to take the easy way out.

Oh yes, I know exactly how you are feelng. I've been there myself.

The theme I'm using right now is called Suffusion and it pretty much does everything I need.

Another theme I like a lot is called Thesis, but you have to pay for it. I think the cost is worth it though. It is a very robust theme. What are you looking for from a theme?
