I know as soon as I ask this question, I'm going to have a sudden urge to slap myself in the forehead (should have had a V8).
We all know that attachments are scarcely accepted in the query community. When an agent asks for the first three sample pages of the manuscript-- as you have-- included with the query, how exactly is that done? It's not like you can copy and paste from a word document, so a query has to be hand typed into the email. Do you write your first three pages of the manuscript in the body of the email just like the query? Or, is there an easier way to do this?
(Cue slap in the forehead.)
