Gathering dust whilst propping up my keyboard. I have trouble writing steamy romance, so my mother gave me a Mills and Boon Silhouette intrigue to read. I must admit I have never read an M&B, so maybe I shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but there is just something about formula writing that stands in the way of turning that first page. Am I being too harsh?

The Kid Table by Andrea Seigel

As a kid I had an embroidered pillow in my bedroom with Pooh's head saying, "If you live to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus 1 day, so I never have to live without you."


(funny too, because this whole entry makes this book sound wholesome and good for the soul. hahahahaha that's not true at all.)
