New Query Writing Method

After hours and hours of wrestling with writing my query I've come up with an idea that will very likely prove much easier and way more effective:

I'm going to get a MadLib book and fill in the blanks with characters, nouns, and verbs from my manuscript.

Seriously, it's either that or go insane.

Or just use this:

It really is the easiest formula for writing a query that I've ever used. Don't over think it. Although if your story doesn't fit neatly into the blanks then you might want to figure out why and adjust accordingly.

Dang, so much for what I thought was an original idea.

Sigh.

I like the Mad Lib book idea! You can create one then market it to writers. :P
