I'm curious about books that might specifically narrow in on one holiday (Christmas, Halloween, etc). It seems that the really "big" or "better selling" books are not holiday-specific at all. Children's books might have an abundance of these...but not YA or adult, etc. Thoughts?
Do you think it is do-able to write some adventure or fantasy story revolving around Christmas and have a chance of it being published? Of course, if its good, its good. But, I wonder if the publishing industry are cautious with these books since they might be harder to market? Sell?

Let it snow! is a 3 story YA novel by authors Maureen Johnson, John Green, and Lauren Myracle is a great holiday book. It centers around one major snow storm just before Christmas that strands several groups of teens together in one town. Each story is about a different set of teens and the events surrounding this diner and they all connect. It is a really enjoyable book. It helped that it was by three great writers, and I only ever see it heavily marketed around Christmas, but I think the book did well.
