Two new writing sites worth procrastinating to check out

I just wanted to share two new sites I learned about this week for writers and readers alike.
The first one is Figment. From the website: ( http://figment.com/ )
Figment is a community where you can share your writing, connect with other readers, and discover new stories and authors. Whatever you're into, from sonnets to mysteries, from sci-fi stories to cell phone novels, you can find it all here.
I love the site design but there is so much content that I haven't quite figured it all out yet. From what I understand it is very, very new. But a cool idea.
The second one is December Lights. From the website: ( http://www.decemberlightsproject.com/ )
Free stories that make us laugh and feel good even in the depths of winter. We'll be adding at least two or three stories a week all through December - don't forget to come back to find our newest offerings!
Unlike Figment, December Lights are short stories submitted by published authors. The site design is not as cool as Figment, but the stories are good qulaity and it isn't quite so overwhelming.
Enjoy!
