So Google's got 3,000,000 electronic books ready for sale and download...starting today?

I love the concept of proceeds being split between Google and indie bookstores if customers buy from that store, and the idea of storing your stories in a cloud :) . And, as I understand it, individual publishers were able to negotiate their deals, rather than being railroaded toward a single model.

Sadly, I have a Kindle, so I won't be able to participate. But competition is a very good thing - and the e-book empire is developing. It's fascinating to watch the changes. :)

As for the agency model - where publishers set their prices - I am very confused about the whole pricing thing. I may start a thread about it.....
