Saw this on Janet Reid's blog today. Kind of funny. Kind of sad. At any rate, it is really bad form on the part of the rejectee. Bad, bad writer. You are only supposed to fantasize about doing this stuff.

Oh, what a sweetheart he is!
I'm pretty sure I critiqued that guy's query.

Yeaaaaah. Slush Pile Hell includes two or three of these. I want to say (without checking) that Jessica over at the BookEnds blog posted a portion of one as an opportunity to explain something. Can't quite recall.

Brave woman. The last time I critiqued for a man with a temper like that, he began cyberstalking me and put up a website dedicated to hating me. I. Kid. You. Not. Best part? I never actually gave him the critique, so it wasn't based on anything I said about his work.

Ah, rejections are hard. I recently got my first personal one. I found it really encouraging!

Yeah! I mean, what did Janet Reid's horse ever do to him?
