Do I have to call Molly Hatchet Milly Ax?

In my nearly completed first novel (If Nathan had nickel for every time. . . .), I make anachronistic references to songs songwriters and products in the text. for example one kid is wearing a Molly Hatchet t-shirt and Converse tennis shoes and I have specific (non-critical) reasons for including those details. How much resistance to the practice should I expect from agents and publishers? I know this is similar to a previous question about place names but I wonder if I've crossed into trademark issues.
