Do you like it?

Do you like it?

I tend to like what I write. Really. Usually, I have fun writing. I like the way one word comes after the other, the flow of my thoughts, my choice of theme and pacing. Then, there’s the question: should I like my own results? Wouldn’t it be more chic, intellectual, reasonable, mysterious (you name it) if I went like “I suck”? If I was all crazy and disturbed and damaged and humble about myself? Maybe it would, but I really think people who write feel like they have something to say (even if it’s something to bother the rest of humanity), and anyone who feels like they have something to say somehow likes whatever it is that they wanna say. Am I bothering you? I don’t care. I’ve opened a new file, I’m gonna fill it.

Maybe you won’t get to read this post, because maybe it won’t be posted, but I feel like saying: I’m done with the insecurities regarding a person’s issues on their capacities. If you really think you suck you don’t even submit your sucking. When you do so, you truly expect to hear something encouraging. Well, feel free to say something encouraging. Feel free even to curse me in silence. Please don’t do it out loud. I’m vulnerable. I’m sensitive. I’m a writer/actress. And whether I like my writing or not, it doesn’t matter one bit. What really matters is: Do you- publisher, producer, buyer, reader, blogger who’ll post me or not- like it?

If the answer is yes, please let me know where to send my bank account information so you can deposit my cash.

P.S. I live in Brazil. It might be a little more expensive to hire me, tax-wise.
