I just found and joined this site.
I was reading through the critique list and was excited to read your post. I too can crank out a chapter a day when I'm on a roll. I have just lost two wonderful crit partners. One is 43, has grown kids, and just had a baby. Yeah... The other dear gal has become discouraged over the summer after several rejections and has kinda dropped off. That leaves me with one really great CP, but she only wishes to trade every couple of weeks.
I'm dedicated, determined and very driven.
I've written 5 years and have 5 manuscripts completed. The next three manuscripts are outlined and I've just started working on story #6.
All of the manuscripts have finaled in contests and I've won two of the contests. I have fulls of the first two manuscripts in front of agents. My dream agent just read book 1 and asked for a full of the next book. My fingers and toes are crossed.
My kids are all teenagers and I'm a stay at home mother so I have a lot of time to write and I take advantage of every moment of it!!! My turn around time on a chapter ranging 15 pages is 24 hours. I give my critique partners the same dedication and time I give my own work.
My strengths are plot, pacing, dialogue, hook openers and hook endings. My weakness list would be not writing in enough vivid descriptions of the scenes and I never seem to remember the sense of hearing unless I'm called on it.

It's been some time since these postings but would
like to join this thread and see if there's any interest in
sharing early chapters of romantic suspense novels. I have

completed and professionally edited.

I submitted to agents some time ago, but would like to get
them back in circulation. I epublished both, but haven't generated
enough reviews to give me guidance.

I hope you don't have a crit partner yet, because it sounds like you have everything I want in a crit partner. I also have a 24-hour turn around time. I've submitted to agents, but I haven't gained their interest as much as I would like, so I'm going back to the book. I would also like to only swap a few chapters at first to see if we'd work well together. It's an 88,000 word historical fiction about the Vestal Virgins of ancient Rome.
