HA! I knew you couldn't resist the button for long. I sing that song to my son every year about this time. And every year my son gets mad at me. Oh, well.

Love ANZAC day. It's the only day playing 2-up is legal in Australia. And there's the dawn ceremony and the march. It has a very 'national pride' feel about it.
Not to mention everyone heads from the ceremonies to the local pub. Australia is usually roaring drunk by 9am.

Then there's Australia day - the day the union jack and southern cross prevail. The flag comes out as a cape, the southern cross tats are displayed with pride and just about every one is running around in Australian themed board shorts and bikinis.

Do any of these things any other day though, and you're deemed to be a 'tosser'.

Robin - that video is so funny.

And sort of horrifying, since I start school in exactly one week. Bleh.

Today is Women's Road Warrior's Day.

How do they think of these things?

Thank you, Cheekychook.

That's a very important holiday. I think it should be right up there with New Year's.
