Blurb for ebook

Hello everyone,
Excited to join the community. I am about to publish a book on amazon and I wasn't sure if i should put the blurb somewhere in the ebook? I know that sounds strange because Ill have it as part of the description on amazon...but I wasn't sure if there was a norm within the industry!
